Test box
According to the ISSF sport regulations, air pistols and sport pistols must fit in a corresponding test box/ measuring box !
According to the pistol table, the internal dimensions are:
"for 10m disciplines: 420 x 200 x 50 mm,
for 25m disciplines: 300 x 150 x 50 mm."
It should be noted that the weapons can be placed anywhere in the box. Turning the weapon around often helps and suddenly it fits in.

Some weapons cause unexpected problems:
- A tight-fitting GSP with .22 system does not go into the box with a .32 system because the locking compound weights are heavier.
- For sports pistols with a folding front sight, you should snap the front sight into the lower position when things get tight.
- With the FWB C25, it can happen that the vertical tank touches the box if the handle is too narrow.
- With new grip systems that offer an adjustment option for the grip, it can happen that the weapon no longer fits in the case when the adjustment is used to the maximum (e.g. Steyr EVO10, Walther LP500, FWB P8X...).
- Pistols with an electronic trigger (Steyr EVO10e, Morini 162ei, 200ei...) often do not fit because the electronics block is very thick. The palm rest must then be made narrower!
- Some revolvers suddenly no longer fit in the case with other sights.
